On August 1st, the AEO mutual recognition arrangement between China and Uzbekistan was officially implemented, which is also the first customs AEO international mutual recognition cooperation project to land in Uzbekistan. This two-way mutual recognition landing further opens up the bilateral trade clearance channel between China and Ukraine, optimizes the cross-border business environment, and brings substantial policy benefits to foreign trade production enterprises, cross-border logistics service providers, and import and export practitioners who deeply cultivate the Central Asian market. It marks a new stage of standardized, efficient, and low-cost credit clearance for Central Asian cross-border trade.
Many foreign trade and logistics practitioners are not unfamiliar with the AEO system. As a universal certified operator system of the World Customs Organization, AEO can be regarded as the "global green passport" for international trade and the highest certification of enterprise customs credit rating. Compared to ordinary import and export enterprises, enterprises that have passed AEO advanced certification can enjoy exclusive customs clearance benefits in mutually recognized countries, greatly avoiding uncertain risks in cross-border logistics, effectively compressing customs clearance time, and reducing comprehensive logistics costs.
